I promised an update on the debacle caused by Mandy.com assigning my last subscription to the wrong department. They refuse to accept their mistakes, nor do they offer any compensation for the loss of many voiceover opportunities due to their inefficiency.

I have heard from many disillusioned people how difficult it is to secure one voiceover job from this company. Many of their jobs seem to be for specific foreign languages and consequently of no use to a lot of people who only have English as their language. I wonder just how many people apply for each job and consequently what is their chance of ever getting a voiceover job from this company?

As with so many companies, their apparent disdain for someone who has been a regular subscriber for many years is despicable, and I must now discourage all my voiceover students from having anything to do with this company. I would suggest they try Voices.com instead.
