So this week shortlisted for about 4 voiceovers, quite a few auditions and took a one day voiceover course too. A return visit – always nice to know that they enjoyed it the first time!

It’s been a good week. One voiceover for America, one for QVC, and now a series of ads for Evita in New Zealand. Plus I’m shortlisted for 3 more voiceovers. It’s a funny old game.

I’m often asked what a good Voiceover Showcase should include – how many demos, what styles etc. Whilst there’s not a hard and fast rule there are some do’s and don’t’s. Don’t include a style that doesn’t suit your voice. If your voice doesn’t lend itself to hard selling for example, there would be little…

What a day to travel to London and find your brolly is useless! Never seen the sky so black. Good voiceover session though for the latest Money.co.uk advert. Then lunch in my favourite Chinese restaurant ‘Four Seasons’  in Queensway.

Finally finished last of 14 voiceovers for Festivals of India – Yay! Very challenging but a good feeling it’s all done! Mine’s a pint then!
